On February 6 th, 1971 famed astronaut Alan Shepard used a lunar sample scoop handle and a smuggled Wilson 6 iron head to hit the first ever golf balls on the moon. Although Shepard topped the first ball, he
drove the second ball for “miles and miles and miles” he reported. Thus was born the first ever golf course on the moon. And now is your chance to reserve the right to be amongst the first civilians to swing your sticks at “Out Of This World Outfitter’s Lunar Links and Crater Club”.
St. Andrew’s, Augusta, and Pebble Beach are undeniably amazing courses that offer incredible views that cannot be beaten …
Until now!!!
Each hole boasts amazing views of the lunar landscape and the Earth-views abound from the entirety of this amazingly beautiful course. Although there are no water hazards the sand traps, moon rocks and craters should prove to be challenging to even the best handicapper.
In the purist spirit of preserving the rules that Shepard had inadvertently set up, the entire course has been designed to be played using only a 6 iron. However if you wish, you may feel free to use your full assortment of clubs if the “6 iron only” rule proves to be too challenging.
As well, each of the golf carts has been perfectly recreated to resemble an authentic Lunar Rover with the exception of an added place to hold your golf bag!
Each hole has been crafted and designed so that the flag placement and cup end whimsically as an entire crater. Your chances of a “crater in one” have never been better!
This is your chance to be the talk of your terrestrial country club. When everyone sees your beautiful commemorative lunar golf certificate and membership card they will have to have one of thei
r own. They will just be trying to keep up with your amazing and adventurous spirit.
Golfing amongst the stars has not been possible until now so take advantage of this monumental opportunity to stir a little lunar links dust and then relax at the 19th Crater Club House.
